Our Stitching & Sewing Capabilities

At Plakads Apparel, we utilize state-of-the-art machinery to ensure precision and quality in every stitch. Our equipment includes Juki and Konsai machines, each serving specific purposes to meet diverse stitching needs. We employ a variety of stitching techniques to achieve high-quality finishes:

  • 4-Thread and 5-Thread Overlock Machines are used for creating durable and secure seams, essential for high-stress areas of garments. These machines ensure that seams are strong and resistant to wear and tear.
  • Flatlock Machines are used for creating flat seams that lie flat against the fabric, ideal for activewear and performance garments. This technique is particularly beneficial for reducing chafing and improving comfort.
  • Lockstitch Machines are known for their straight and secure stitches, making them perfect for general stitching tasks. Lockstitching provides a clean and professional finish that is both durable and aesthetically pleasing.
  • Elastic Insertion Machines are used for adding elastic bands to garments, enhancing comfort and flexibility. These machines ensure that elastics are securely stitched into place without compromising the fabric’s integrity.
  • Button Holing and Button Sewing Machines are used for precise button placements, ensuring durability and a clean finish. These machines automate the process of creating buttonholes and attaching buttons, providing consistent and high-quality results.
  • Snap Button Machines are used for attaching snap buttons, offering a secure and functional fastening option. These machines ensure that snap buttons are accurately placed and securely fastened.
  • Auto-Cut Compressor-Powered Flatlock Machines provide efficient and precise stitching, enhancing productivity and quality. These machines are equipped with automated cutting features that streamline the sewing process and ensure clean, accurate cuts.

Our stitching and sewing processes are managed by highly experienced personnel with decades of experience. We have a production capacity of over 1000 garments daily. Our techniques include spider stitch, invisible stitch, and other specialized methods, allowing us to handle even the most complicated designs.

Contribution to Final Product Quality

We ensure quality and consistency by employing a dedicated checking line team that performs continuous checks during the stitching process. This approach reduces fabric waste as defective units are identified and discarded early. By not keeping our workforce on a piece-rate basis, we prioritize quality over quantity, reducing the incentive for large production runs and enhancing overall quality.

Precision in stitching and sewing directly impacts the final product's durability, appearance, and comfort. By leveraging advanced technology, expert craftsmanship, and stringent quality control, we ensure that each garment meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
